An aggressive encounter between raccoon dog and badger was documented by a camera-trap at the badger outlier in early June in Naliboki Forest, the central-western part of Belarus.
As far as we could find out the story was as following. A breeding couple of raccoon dogs placed their cubs in a dense grass nearby an outlier burrow of badgers. An adult badger was purposed to visit the outlier, but it was suddenly attacked by the parental raccoon dogs. Being attacked by two raccoon dogs simultaneously, after a short fighting the badger escaped.
