Recently, another former lynx den was discovered, which was active in the months of June and July.

The den was a cavity nestled under the roots of large black alders. The presence of lynx hair suggested that just lynx family had recently used it for sheltered denning. This den was located in a stretch of black alder forest, flanked by a vast meadow 30 meters away and old broadleaved deciduous forest 50 meters distant. The old-growth area was dotted with numerous fallen trees, frequently utilized by the lynx family, as evidenced by the claw marks.
